KRISHINERY

The agriculture sector in Nepal is central to the livelihood of Nepalese people. The agriculture contributes about 35% to national GDP and provides part and full-time employment opportunities to 74% of its population (MOF 2011 & NLFS 2008).

Agriculture is a source of livelihood for two-thirds of Nepal’s population. Which implies that the improvement in this sector will have a decisive effect on ensuring food security and poverty reduction of the country. And with the lack of manpower in the country, mechanisation is the best option for improving efficiency in agriculture production and promoting diversification in agriculture. It saves costs and resources (labor, energy) by reducing operational time in agriculture and helps in improving timely farm operation. It helps make agriculture competitive in the region by reducing the cultivation cost, improving the quality of the products and creating a conducive environment for the competitive market price of the produced agricultural commodities.

And with that in mind, Krishinery Nepal is introducing Krishinery agriculture machinery, which is bound to make changes in the life of Nepali farmers.
